Never watched this show so thanks for the narrative recap
this picture is bullshit because it looks like this

if you’ve never sang defying gravity by yourself dramatically then you are lying
Here it is, finally!
Let me tell you the story of my first tattoo.
Some of you may remember, I posted the original concept and design of it around half a year ago, and a few weeks back, after refining and talking and working, Achim, brilliant and dedicaded tattoo artist and my significant other, got it through in one session.
He touched it up again a few weeks later and now that it’s completely healed, i can finally and very, very proudly present you something symbolic i’m happily going to wear for the rest of my life.
The heart symbol of Homestuck - representing my own god tier title Sylph of Heart, which i chose after reading dozens of descriptions and interpretations, and Homestuck itself.
Firstly as little homage to the brilliant webcomic itself. Secondly, and most importantly, as reminder what drastic and throughout positive impact Homestuck had on my life. I met a ton of wonderful and interesting people through it, some of them have become my closest friends even, and i’m really thankful for their existance, and I enjoy my time with them so so much.
Not to talk about my partner, the tattooist himself.
Through Homestuck, I also started going to conventions and with cosplay, it had a lot of positive effects on my art and gave me a lot of inspiration and motivation to get better, to a level i’m very proud to be on.
The bird silhuette - and also the heart itself - done on my right arm, since I’m a right handed person.
The second great meaning of the tattoo is a representation of my love for art. I cannot and I don’t want to imagine my life without creating and expressing myself through my art, an outlet for emotions and ideas, a way of communication and expressing myself. I could even say it’s the most important thing of my life, a hobby, but also nothing less than my profession.
I’m really happy with the final result, it’s done incredibly well, the lines’ accuracy and the evenness of the black area is amazing.
So please make sure to also go and give Achim all of your compliments (All of them!) And check out his other works as well!
